Our Story

The Vine House formerly started in November 2014, as a mulicultural and non-denominational fellowship of Jesus followers.
Herb and Ana Herbert with a few friends started with prayer for a new fellowship. They wanted to be multicultural, and to reach new people looking to follow Jesus. They were joined by John and Sarah Jacobson who were lead by the Holy Spirit to join Herb and Ana, initially as mentors, and later on the leadership team.
Over time, the church transformed from a more traditional style, to an informal fellowship, where relationships, discipleship and prayer became the focus. Then in 2018, Herb and Ana felt lead to start in their local community of Point England. So now we have two small fellowships, and are developing our culture and way of being so we are welcoming, inclusive and accepting of anyone who would like to join us in following Jesus through this journey of life.
